Gas Powered Greenhouse Heaters
The gas powered greenhouse heaters come in different types and models. Most of these has powered heaters are designed to circulate warm air all around the greenhouse through the top floor of your structure.

Many people prefer this type of heating system because it very economic. Since most types of commercially manufactures gas powered heaters come with sensitive thermostat, it shuts down automatically when the heat reaches a comfortable level for the plants.

Space Heaters
Space heaters are suitable for small enclosed spaces like a small greenhouse. If you only have a small lean-to or window-mounted greenhouse, you do not really need to get a big greenhouse heater. Just install a space heater to provide enough warmth to your plants.

Forced-air Heater
According to experts, the forced-air heater is the best heating system for small greenhouses. This system actually uses forced-air from a furnace to warm up the atmosphere of the greenhouse. The warm air from the furnace is distributed through a plastic tube system attached to the floor or the ceiling of the greenhouse.
Although this type of heating system is suitable for small greenhouse, it is not really advisable to use for large greenhouses. When it comes to large greenhouses, the centralized electricity driven heating system is still more practical.

This type of heating system is powered by stream from boiling water. A stream system that is equipped with a thermostat and automatic ventilation system is ideal for small to large scale greenhouses.

Electric Heaters
For large scale greenhouses, the centralized electric heating system is ideal. This type of system can be installed though overhead infrared heating equipment or through a cable under the soil. In places that are prone to bitter cold, a combination overhead equipments and cables under the soil may be installed to generate heat.
